<SomeGuyInaSuit>Otsdarva moved his sights along the camp and noticed a stone structure on the far end of the mountain. "Well, would you look at that! A castle!"
<gigglesalot>"I can't see it..." She said, but went back to observing the camp.
<SAmaryllis>Sister Anne looked up from where she was treating a young boy from the village. She turned to the boy's mother, eyebrows raised. "What a commotion. Is this usual in this village?" The mother shook her head. "Mm. In any case, your llittle boy's arm is healed now, but be sure not to touch any cacti in the future, all right, dear?" The boy nodded vigorously, and, satisified, Sister Anne headed out of the house to see what was going on.
<SomeGuyInaSuit>"We more than likely have to do something about this camp but... I think Shadowman might be at that castle. We need to get there to take a look... just we can't alert the camp."
<gigglesalot>Sol nods then points her finger at Beta and Delta. "Shhh." Meanwhile in the village Opal was looking for someone to tell her what was going on. What was taking the two children so long? All the worrying was making her tired and weary. That's when she saw a nun. "Good day sister." Opal approach her, smiling. "Maybe you can tell me what's going on? I can't find my children..." We'll they're not my children... She thought but she was in charge of them for now.
<SAmaryllis>Sister Anne inclined her head at the pregnant woman and smiled pleasantly. "Good day. I'm afraid I am not too certain what is going on, either; may I ask what your children look like? I will certainly help you find the dears. Perhaps they've run off to wherever the commotion was."
<SomeGuyInaSuit>The noise was too loud for the insurgents to notice Otsdarva and Sol, they made their way to the castle which was old and recently abandoned but obviously being used by the insurgents. there was one tower that was over looking Azan. "Think you or your shadows know of a not so obvious way in?"
<gigglesalot>Sol looked up, along one wall there where quiet a few climbing vines. Delta looked thrilled and threw itself onto the wall and began its ascent. Beta shuddered but soon followed. "Find us a way in. Stay to the shadows." She warned. Opal smiled. "Ah, one is a girl with long white hair and green markings, the other is a boy with black hair and a white coat. They have our Slephner with them, he's brown with black stripes along his back."

<SAmaryllis>Sister Anne shook her head once. "I apologize. I do not believe I have seen your children, nor your slephner." She took a step towards where the gathering swarm of villagers were at the village's edge. "But perhaps there is as good a place to start as any? The other villagers may have seen them."
<SomeGuyInaSuit>Otsdarva followed Sol's shadows to an open fissure which lead to hallways mostly empty. After a few feet of traveling within the structure, he hear noises of people walking towards the tower over looking Azan. He took cover at a corner wall and peeked to what appeared to be two men, an older man in a lab coat and a lanky man in a yellow suit. "He came in right after you. I have what you two asked for, I'm just hoping you have your end of the deal. You told me that you came from the Omer building, did you find it?"
<viaco12>"I did," said the yellow-clad man. He picked up a bag from the ground next to him and pulled out a glowing green jar.
<viaco12>Toasty woke up feeling incredibly groggy. His head hurt, and his vision was blurry. He sat up, and realized his hands were tied behind his back. He tried to think back to what had happened to him. He remembered fighting with some guy on a flying machine. He remembered getting knocked on the head pretty hard. Next thing, he was being dragged across a stone floor, hearing someone talking. "Who's that, Pasty?" he heard. 'What a dumb name,' he thought, as he tried his best to remember more of what happened.

<gigglesalot>Sol climbed through the window and his behind a wall as well, she listened with careful ears to what the two men were saying. Opal thanked the nun and went to see what was happening. A group of men, using thick ropes were pulling something up the slope. Upon further investigation Opal discovered it to be a Slephner. The realization came slowly. "Leon!?" She rushed to his side. "What happened?"
<SomeGuyInaSuit>Otsdarva followed the two to the entrance of the tower. From there was another old man similar to the figure they saw at Tri-corners. He turned when both the men entered the tower. "Ah, Greetings my good Pasty, I see you too arrived safely." he said in the same Russian accent Otsdarva remembered. "I must inform both of you, we have a new enemy. I am most certain this Lab Dog who followed me is the offspring of the one who destroyed my Liliana uprising years ago. I can ensure you that Liliana is well rising again, and we can make our grand entry to the town across... that is... it would be helpful with the power of the Void. Is your work complete Dr. Sinclare?" "Yes" said the man in the coat. "Your Liliana insurgents can use the Void crystals to silence that of magic users. The stronger the impact of the weapon, the larger the portals of the Void will be. It just takes a split second of an open portal to silence magic users and give pause to magic itself." Dr. Sinclare handed the man a map of Helion. "Large versions of these crystals have already been planted in these sections underneath the island, but you will need sufficient firepower to make a big enough portal to nullify the magic holding Helion up." "I know just the weapon." said the man, "Do you have the Amulet?" Dr. Sinclare tossed the man a necklaces with a gyroscopic pendant. "Large ring is years, the middle is months, the small ring is days." said Dr. Sinclare. The man looked at the pendant and smirked. "Give him the Kojima my good pasty" he said. "And Azan will no longer be under my protection. I shall use this to briefly travel to get the weapon which will bring down Helion. Use the Liliana troops training to launch the attack at dawn... I wish to see more bloodshed before I depart.
<viaco12>Pasty handed the jar to the man next to him. He had waited for this part for a while. With the Liliana troops at his disposal, the entire town would suffer, and meanwhile, he had to do little more than tell them where to go.
<viaco12>Toasty's vision was getting clearer, and he saw that he had been set down in an empty room, without much more than a large wooden door blocking his way out. He realized the thing binding his hands was just regular rope, and he began to suspect whoever was in charge of restraining him really didn't know him too well. A small fire was enough to burn the rope, and his hands were free within seconds. He approached the door and prepared to burn the thing down.
<gigglesalot>Sol swallowed. All of those innocent lives would be lost. Opal an her unborn child. There had to be something they could do... Anger boiled within her as did her shadow.
<gigglesalot>Opal on the other hand had begun to panic. The kids had to be there somewhere. Her eyes wandered to the bridge and rocky path, determined to find them she set off. One of the men called to her, begging her to stop. "My kids are in danger! I have to make sure they'll safe!"
<SomeGuyInaSuit>Dr. Sinclare examined the jar with great delight. "The Valorian Empress will be pleased. Now I can carry out Rayleonard's task in his stead." "What will you do to make the Empress trust you?" said the man. "There is a very special gift I have stashed on board one of my ships, I will take it to her first." "You may do as you please then, will our... "experiment" with Helion compromise the Valorians?" "You can blow that Island out of the sky in anyway shape or form, I wan't that Queen exterminated! My business with you is done, once Valoria take over, I'll work with them into turning a blind eye to the Liliana." "You must go then, before we decide to use your blood for entertainment ourselves." Dr. Sinclare left the tower with Otsdarva and Sol hiding in the shadows, they went unnoticed. "I will leave for the moment Mr. Pasty and be back at dawn to observe our work. Once the entire world is bathed in it's own blood... we will duel... winner will have the pleasure of seeing the last man on earth die. Exciting, don't you think?" said the man to Pasty, then began to spin the amulet.
<viaco12>Pasty stood and watched as the man spinned his amulet and disappeared. Once he was gone, Pasty turned to leave the tower, intending to check on something before he sent the troops into town.
<viaco12>After spending several minutes hitting the door with as much fire as he could conjure, Toasty sighed, relieved that he was finally done. He stepped out into the corridor and looked around. Having no idea where he was or how to get out, he simply turned left and started walking.
<gigglesalot>Sol crept out her cover slowly, crouching. She moved towards the man, Beta and Delta began to lurk out of her shadow. Opal on the other hand, had finished climbing the slope. Upon reaching the top, she stopped one of the guards. Quickly she darted to cover. The water below her would come in very useful now, with a flick of her wrist a tentacle of water formed, it grabbed the man and dragged him under the waters's surface. After checking to see that the coast was clear Opal continued her trek upwards.
<SomeGuyInaSuit>"We need to stop this insurgency tonight!" Otsdarva whispered, "We're going to need help, we got to get Opal and try and contact Toasty." Otsdarva began to sneak back the way they came from.
<viaco12>Toasty kept walking. He'd sometimes pass an intersection, but figured just going straight was just as likely to get him out of here as turning was. Every now and then, he'd pass a small window, and he'd look through, only to find that they'd been boarded up. He thought he could here something farther down the hall, but it was just as likely that it came from somewhere else entirely. He really didn't know his way around this place. It would help if the place wasn't so dark. He lit a small flame at the end of his finger to light his way as he continued down the dim corridor.
<SomeGuyInaSuit>Otsdarva waited until Dr. Sinclare was out of sight, and they were well away from Pasty, then he started running with Sol in the dim corrador, he turned corner and snuck as fast as he could to the fissure. Just then he bumpped into something. He quickly whipped out his crossbow but then saw that it was Toasty. "Toasty!" he whispered. "What the hell you doing here?"
<viaco12>Toasty stared blankly at the two for a few seconds before responding. "I have no idea," he said. "I was fighting this guy, and I guess I got knocked out. I just woke up here. It was weird, though. I was tied up, but I just kinda burnt the rope and got out. It was... REALLY easy, actually."
<viaco12>Pasty rounded the corner and walked down another pathway. He kept going until he reached the room he was looking for. 'He got out,' he thought to himself as he looked at the singed doorway. Pasty was entirely calm. This was expected, after all.
<SomeGuyInaSuit>"Toasty, there is a friggin army out there that is planning to kill of all the people in Azan on the other side of this mountain, we need to stop them and that mad-man who's here in this castle right now. One of them killed Leon in cold blood. They also gave an ex-co-worker of mine something that I had hidden in the lab. What happened? I called Omer several times, there was no answer!"
<gigglesalot>Sol nodded. They needed to get help and fast. "We need to find Opal. And fast. She might be able to buy us some time..." Outside the camp, Opal was watching the terrorists mill about. They were preparing for something; an attack perhaps? They were heavily armed. She leaned up against the cliff wall. If she had enough time and energy she could form a wall of ice separating Azan and the group and give the inhabitants enough time to escape, but she herself would need cover.
<viaco12>"Oh, about Omer... That place is wrecked. I don't know why you worked there. The place is a dump. There's rubble everywhere, and I didn't even see any scientists! That guy I fought was there, though. He has a really dumb name. It's Pasty or something... I can't remember. Anyway, he had one of those flying things we found in the alley. Probably how we got all the way to Azan so fast... We should definitely get going, though."
<viaco12>Pasty headed toward the back entrance of the building. The troops would be waiting for him there. As long as his idiot brother didn't know what was going on, there was essentially no chance he could stop him. Not that he was likely to stop im even if he DID somehow figure it out.
<SomeGuyInaSuit>Otsdarva just translated what he meant through Toasty's vernacular and said: "I was afraid you'd say that. Anyway, yes, lets go!" Otsdarva then spotted a crank phone on the wall, and pulled on Toasty's shirt. "Nononono, wait! I got an idea! Sol, I need you to find Opal, and a way to slow these troops down from getting to Azan. Toasty, I'll catch up with you right now, but look for some kind of a powder room and find a way to make this place VERY flammable to the point that it will blow sky high. And I... I need to make a phone call." Otsdarva picked up the phone receiver and cranked up the phone.
<gigglesalot>Sol nodded. Stealth was not her speciality, but she could always just run right through and hope for the best. If Leon were there they could just muscle their way through the throng of armed combatants. She shook her head slightly and bolted for a nearby window. "I pray to the gods you two don't blow yourselves sky high!" And with that threw herself into the river below. Opal heard the splash, and not moments later saw Sol poke her head above water. The girl swam to shore and raced up the pathway once again.

<viaco12>Toasty grinned. He had EVERY intention of blowing himself sky high. He took off down the hall, looking in every room he passed. He passed a room with a bunch of barrels in it, and he destroyed one of them only to have water spill all over the floor, effectively reducing the building's overall flammability. He groaned to himself as he continued on through the corridors. Several rooms down, he finally found some barrels with powdery stuff in it. He didn't know if it was the kind he was looking for, so he rolled a barrel out into the hall, stood a fair distance back, and launched a fireball at it. The resulting explosion confirmed that he had found the right room, as well as destroying a full seven square feet of the hallway.
<viaco12>Pasty flinched as he heard a blast in the distance. He cursed to himself, and he waved to one of the soldiers waiting outside the building. They knew their strategy already, which was to simply rush into the town and kill everyone in sight, so his signal was all they needed before heading off. He then ran back inside to locate the source of the blast.
<Germanknight>Draous sat on the bed in his room at the Inn. "Those asses left me! Seriously? Could they not have just woke me up or something?" Before he could continue his half-hearted rant, the phone in his room started to ring. He nearly jumped out of his skin at the unexpected sound. He looked around, unsure of what to do as he was not used to having one of these devices. He decided to answer it mostly out of curiosity of the almost foreign device.
<SomeGuyInaSuit>Two of the Liliana troops followed Pasty as an escort, one with a musket and the other with a Void crystal.
<SomeGuyInaSuit>"Daraous! Thank the Gods, don't ask questions, I need you to find some kind of an airlift and haul ass with it to Azan. There's a hidden castle in the mountians with a tower overlooking the city. Bring it there, if you can join us inside, we need all the help we can get, but make sure that thing can catch us!" Otsdarva hung up the phone then then ran to help Toasty.
<gigglesalot>Sol and Opal observed the combatants. The preparing for an assault. "No!" Breathed Opal. "Sol, if they come. Keep them busy, I'm going to create a wall of ice to stop them." Opal began to concentrate, below the pair the river began to churn and splash up against the rocks. Her companion went around the corner and stood watch with her shadow beasts; who ear geeky awaited the command to attack.
<viaco12>Toasty rolled another barrel out into the hall. There were several sacks of powder on shelves as well, so he grabbed some of them, too. He took a rope off the wall, and poured the powder out of one of the barrels. He started filling it up with sacks, although when he thought about it, he had just emptied the barrel of explosive powder just so he could fill it with sacks of explosive powder. Whatever, the sacks were easier to spread around. When it was full, he put a lid on it, and rolled it into the hall. The room was almost completely empty by now, with barrels having been spread along the corridor. He thanked the gods he could roll them, because they happened to be really heavy, and carrying them would have taken much longer. He continued down the hall with his new barrel, stopping every once in a while to empty a sack on the ground.
<viaco12>Pasty huffed. He should have known Toasty would end up blowing something up. He probably didn't mean to, either. He and the two Liliana troops continued down the hall, when he came across a barrel leaned against the wall. He looked inside to find explosive powder. He pace quickened from there. He would have to stop Toasty before he blew the top off the entire mountain!
<Germanknight>Draous ran down the road. He needed to get to that castle to help and fast. As he stopped for breathe he noticed an airship docking yard for a local courier service. "They wouldn't mind if I 'borrowed' one..." He knew that he could get in a lot of trouble in he got caught, but that call sounded urgent. He hopped the fence and jumped in the closed airship. "Hope this thing is fast." He wasn't sure how to pilot this thing, but how hard could it be? As he took off he whistled for his bird. "We've got a lot of work ahead of us buddy."
<SomeGuyInaSuit>Otsdarva lined up kegs of gunpowder along the second floor of the castle, he then took time to look out a window which overlooked the mountain. It was perfict, he knew that the impact from the castle would trigger a chain shock wave which would destroy the mountain and crush the insurgents. After unloading a keg of powder along the others he spotted Toasty finishing emptying sacs of powder to the floor. He gave him a thumbs up and signaled him to get to the center courtyard of the castle.
<gigglesalot>Opal had finally commanded the water into a raging wave, it got the insurgents attention too. With a quick clenching of her fists the wave froze, breaking the rope and plank bridge that they had come over on. "Sol! We need to move!" She called. "But there is nowhere to go!" Sol cried back. The two looked about, Sol finally gave in and with her earth magic, created a rock barrier along the road way. Blocking the path. But now they were stuck. "Perfect!" Sol grumbled.
<viaco12>Toasty dropped one end of the rope he had grabbed on top of a small section of powder. He held on to the other end as he made his way toward the courtyard. This would probably end up being one of the best moments of his life. It would probably end up killing him, but it was still a high point.
<viaco12>Pasty stepped out into the courtyard. Surely, he'd come through here at some point. Pasty was still a little dumbfounded that Toasty even thought of blowing the place up. He had observed his brother before, and he had always been entirely stupid. Not once had he ever come up with a really good idea. No matter. Even if Toasty had gotten a little smarter somehow, he still probably couldn't beat him in a fight. Especially when it was three on one.
<Germanknight>Draous was cruising now. The controls were simple enough. He came up on the castle and as he throttled down he saw two familiar faces trapped by ice and earth. he descended towards Opal and Sol and as he touched down he yelled. "BEEP BEEP MOTHER FUCKERS!!! GET IN!!" He said it with the biggest grin on his face. It felt so... right to say that. "Come on we have to move. Those guerillas look pissed over there!"
<SomeGuyInaSuit>Otsdarva leaped from the second floor and landed in the courtyard in front of Pasty and next to Toasty. "In the name of Helion and Omer Science, you are under arrest!" he said taking out his crossbow. The Liliana raised his musket at Otsdarva while the other raised his hand ready to cast magics.
<gigglesalot>Sol looked around, nowhere to go and nothing to do but wait. She looked at Opal. "How are you holding up?" "Exhausted." The woman replied. "A spell of that magnitude has pretty much drained my energy..." She breathed out heavily.
<gigglesalot>Sol and Opal both smiled. "Finally a friendly face!" Sol shouted. She helped her friend on board.
<viaco12>Toasty pulled out his staff and sprinted toward Pasty. Forget strategy! Running directly at the opponent had always been how Toasty handled things. Toasty swung at him, only to have his attack blocked by a cane in Pasty's hands. He kept trying, though, maneuvering all around Pasty. He was considerably more agile than his yellow-clad opponent, and as long as magic didn't get involved, he could probably pull this off.
<viaco12>Pasty brought up his cane to block the incoming blow from Toasty. Toasty came at him relentlessly, and it was actually getting pretty hard to keep up. To his credit, Toasty was definitely fast, but Pasty had beaten him before, and he knew he could do it again.
<Germanknight>Draous put the ship over the courtyard. "Wouldn't hurt to help out those two down there." He tied down two long ropes and threw them over the sides of the ship. "Opal, if you could keep this thing above the courtyard that would be extremely helpful. Sol, theres a rope right there if you wanna slide down and join in." With that he grabbed the rope and jumped out, sliding down to a balcony overlooking the courtyard behind the insurgents. He nocked an arrow and took careful aim. As he let out a slow breathe the let the arrow fly, striking the hand of an insurgent that held a crystal.
<SomeGuyInaSuit>The musketeer helped attack Toasty with his bayonet, while the caster used a protection spell on Pasty before getting shot in the hand. He then looked up at the incoming reinforcements. Otsdarva fired three shots in three different places at Pasty causing reduced physical damage due to the protection spell.
<gigglesalot>Sol looked at Opal who was musing over the controls. "I promise not to die or get kidnapped!" And slid down the rope, however her grip loosened and she ended up falling on one of Pasty's guards. Once on her feet she drew her own staff and went to attacking the other guard.

<viaco12>'Wow!' Toasty thought. This was going a lot better than expected! If he was honest, he kind of thought he was going to lose this battle. He'd lost to Pasty before, and this time, he had two other guys with him. This was going pretty well, so far, though. Pasty never seemed all too hurt, though. He'd even been shot with a crossbow, and he looked almost completely fine! Toasty lit his staff on fire, as he continued to relentlessly attack Pasty.
<viaco12>Pasted was getting frustrated. He thought only Toasty was here, but that definitely wasn't the case. The protection spell was holding up really well, though, and he didn't feel too hurt so far. He sent a beam of solid light up from the ground as Toasty lunged at him again, effectively knocking him a considerable distance away. It wouldn't be long until Toasty was upon him again, so he moved quickly. He popped the end up his cane off, revealing the exit of a gun barrel, and took aim at the one who shot him.

<SomeGuyInaSuit>Otsdarva tumbled and fired three more bolts at Pasty with his mag ejecting from his crossbow after the last one was spent. He then took out a conventional grenade lit it and threw it towards Pasty and the Liliana caster. "Eat this!" he shouted.
<SomeGuyInaSuit>The musketeer rolled over to get Sol off his back, then fired at her. The Caster casted an ice spell at Toasty causing some magic damage.
<gigglesalot>Sol grabbed the guards armour and pulled him in front of her, using him as a shield to protect herself from the grenade. It knocked out her attacker. Sol let go of his armour and grabbed her staff like a bat; she swung it at Pasty. "This is for what your men did to Leon!" Her voice was feral as was her intent to bash in the yellow clad man's skull.
<viaco12>After spending some time thawing himself, Toasty charged Pasty again, this time lighting his entire body on fire. He was certain he couldn't look more bad ass, but now wasn't the time for that. He leaped in the air and drew back his fist, only a few few away from Pasty's head. He must have been wrong before, because he was sure he looked even more bad ass now that he was mid-lunge.
<viaco12>Pasty growled. This was getting ridiculous. His shot had missed, as he was well distracted by everything else that was currently heading towards him. He looked behind him to see Toasty running toward him, and Some girl was coming at him to his left. Another man had a bow drawn, and the last one had thrown a grenade. Most damage had been nerfed by the protection spell, but it was seriously starting to hurt, now. Enough was enough. He wasn't going to keep going with this. He built up energy and released an immensely bright flash of light. Anyone who didn't have their eyes closed would be blinded permanently, but everyone likely saw it coming just before the flash. Either way, it gave him cover to bend the light around him, making him nearly invisible as he quickly moved out of harm's way and back into the castle.
<Germanknight>Draous turned away right before the flash. When he looked back Pasty was gone. He could track him, but there might be more pressing matters to attend to. "So what do we do with the whole army of insurgents?"
<SomeGuyInaSuit>The musketeer dropped dead. The caster shielded his eyes and followed Pasty. Otsdarva wasn't so lucky. He got blinded, dropped his crossbow and fell with his eyes in pain. After hearing Draous he said: "I'll deal with them! Go we must stop him first!" Otsdarva took out a tinny flask of a black liquid, laied on his back and tried his best to force his eyes open and wash them with it.
<gigglesalot>Sol shielded her eyes quickly. "Where is the bastard! He's going to get what's coming to him!" Without thinking Sol rushed into the closest door and went running down the corridors.
<viaco12>Toasty opened his eyes, and looked around for Pasty. That was really upsetting. So much bad-ass-ness wasted. Oh well. He still had the rope, and it would only take a small bit of fire to set it off and blow the whole castle sky high! Without really thinking it through, Toasty lit the rope and watched as the fire traveled down the length and went into the castle to wherever he left the other end of it. Might take a minute, because the rope was REALLY long, but eventually, it would reach the end, and the castle would be leveled, crushing the army below. "Guys!" he yelled excitedly. "Fear not! I burned the rope and saved us all!" He looked back and forth between Draous and Otsdarva, a huge grin on his face from ear to ear.
<viaco12>Pasty ran through the corridors. Surely, they'd be blowing the place up soon, so he had to make sure to get out of the castle before then. He found an open window and leaped out, the Liliana close behind him. He landed on the sloped surface of the mountain and began sliding down.
<Germanknight>"Is that a fuse? IS THAT A GODS DAMNED FUSE!?!" Draous jumped down from the balcony. "You two get up to the airship! I'll go get Sol!"
<SomeGuyInaSuit>Otsdarva started to see very blurrily. He heard Draous, but scrabbled to stop him. He grabbed him by the shirt before he ran into the castle and said: "No! I'll get her!" he turned him around and faced him with the surrounding of his eyes stained black. "this is my job! I need to stop that man. As soon as Sol gets back, just over over that tower." he pointed to the tower overlooking Azan. "If I don't make it, just go!" he said.
<gigglesalot>Sol had heard footsteps in on of these hallways. She ran down one until it let out at intersection. On way was a door, another a hallway and one was a window. For a moment she glanced around... The door looked promising. Sol rattled the handle but with was rusted shut from years of not being used. So the next logical option was the hall. However Beta and Delta jumped out of her shadow and raced to the window, and she followed. "There's the bastard!" So she and her shadow beasts leapt out the open window and slid down the slope after Pasty. "Come back here you murdering son of a bitch!" Sol spat. Every moment she saw this villain the angrier she got.

<viaco12>Toasty had his palm on his face as he thought about his recent decisions. Why he thought lighting that thing now was a good idea, he would never know. He was tired of doing crap like this. He decided right then and there, that he'd only make rational decisions from now on. He noticed both Draous and Otsdarva wanted to go look for Sol, and he realized he kinda did, too. If everyone else was going, he might as well, too. He was faster and probably more fire resistant than the others, anyway, so he'd probably be fine as long as they were. He rushed inside. If they had protested, Toasty didn't hear. He was determined to run aimlessly through the halls of a castle set to explode with very little chance of actually finding the person he was looking for. Yep. Nothing but rational decisions from here on out.

<viaco12>Pasty looked back. The girl had jumped out and was still chasing him. He was beginning to really hate these people. He formed a small ball out of light and slid it down the barrel of his cane-gun. At least he'd get to kill ONE of them. He tried his best to steady himself as he took aim at the white-haired girl. It was a little tough considering the ride down was more than a little bumpy, but he eventually got it fairly well lined up. He squinted a bit and pulled the trigger.

<Germanknight>Draous saw Toasty rush in as he was about to argue with Otsdarva. "Well that settles that." He pulled the blinded kid over to the rope leading to the airship and tied it around his waist before securing himself. He tugged on the rope and yelled up "Opal! Can you figure out how to take us up and over the mountain side? Thankyou!" He turned to Otsdarva, "Look, if Sol was chasing that guy then they're both out already. Toasty is fast enough to catch up to them before this place goes up but we need to pick them up before they get buried in the landslide. Sorry but you're gonna have to wait another day before sacrificing yourself kid."
<SomeGuyInaSuit>The caster looked up to Sol, he tossed out the Void crystal towards her and used a spell to crush it. The power inside opened a portal for a split second as Sol passed through it, after closing, her shadows deteriorated.
<SomeGuyInaSuit>Otsdarva and Draous were hoisted up, then Otsdarva heard the sound of Pasty's gun. He thought about Sol, then he thought about Toasty and what he's done so far. He feared for Sol, and to him Toasty wasn't enough ensurance. He looked back at Draous. "Correction" he said, "you need to pick us both up there before this place blows." Otsdarva swung himself to the second floor of the castle and shot off the rope around him landing on the second floor. he made his way to the tower overlooking the town and from the window, saw blotches of Pasty and the Liliana caster and what looked like to be Sol. Otsdarva unfolder his Arbalest, mounted it to the window adjusted the sight, then aligned magnifying pieces with it. He took aim at Pasty seeing slightly better with the extra optics, and pulled the trigger. The shot however managed to hit the caster.

<gigglesalot>Sol couldn't do anything to protect herself this time. The light bullet shot through her abdomen. Everything slowed and blurred together. Her mass hit the ground and skidded to a stop. It couldn't end like this. No. It wouldn't end like this. All those who had died would be avenged. Shaking Sol pushed herself up to her feet and tackled the man. "You- wont get away!"

<viaco12>Toasty wasn't certain, but something seemed to be up with that window. He looked out to see Sol and Pasty scrambling around while sliding further down the mountain, and the Liliana caster lying dead on the slope. There was a trail of blood leading down to where Sol and Pasty were, and that was enough convincing for him. He jumped out, and despite the steep slope, he managed to keep his footing as he sprinted down the mountain after them. He was catching up pretty quickly, and he lit his arms on fire in preparation to smack that Pasty guy on the head with his flaming fist of fury.
<viaco12>Pasty thrashed around trying to shake the girl off. The momentum of the tackle was enough to speed up his descent down the slope, and the shielding spell wore off when the caster died. He glanced down as he fought to see the rest of the Liliana almost finished breaking through a large sheet of ice separating them from the town. He saw Toasty running down the mountain toward him, and he conjured up small blocks of light to knock the girl off of him.
<SomeGuyInaSuit>Otsdarva reloaded, re-adjusted his sight and focused to get a slightly better vision of Pasty, but now he was struggling with Sol. He waited nervously until much of Pasty's yellow was dominant. Otsdarva took a deep breath to hold his aim, then for what seemed like a second got a glimps of Pasty's face and grin. "Smile you damn son-of-a-bitch!" he said and pulled the trigger. He heard the whistle of his bolt rocket out and Pasty's face move in slow motion. Before it got blurry again, he saw red on the other side and Pasty's yellow figure fall. Taking his sights off, he barely saw Sol still wrestling with Pasty's legs, and Toasty moving towards them. Pasty was no longer moving.
<gigglesalot>Sol pushed herself upwards. Everything was red it seemed. Was it his or hers? She couldn't tell. Darkness fell as Sol's eyelids closed; the blood from both her Pasty formed a tiny puddle in a dip in the rocks. The air ship had finally made its way down. Opal was standing slightly shaken at the controls. "I'm an Inn keeper not an air ship pilot." She protested to her. "Toasty! Sol come on! We need to get out her before the castle explodes!"
<viaco12>Toasty's flaming arms drooped. He really wanted to hit Pasty. Whatever, he was still gonna do it. He grabbed Pasty's coat and punched him in the face leaving burn marks on his cheek. He looked down to see Sol in pretty bad condition. He helped her up onto the air ship and looked down at Pasty once more. 'What a dick,' he thought. 'Glad I'm not, like, related to him or something...' He hopped up on the ship and pointed up to the tower. "Should probably go get him," he said. "He probably wouldn't mind living another day or two."
<viaco12>Pasty's vision was pretty much completely absent at this point. His was hit, and barely conscious. He had been shot and burned, and it seemed like he had lost this one. Hell, he might not even LIVE through this one. "Stupid brother," he muttered to himself before his body shut down entirely.
<SomeGuyInaSuit>Otsdarva's vision finally cleared and saw the airship pick up the two, then thought about getting to the roof top of the tower. He folded up his Arbalest and turned. He saw the old man with Void amulet on the other side of he hallway staring him down.
<SomeGuyInaSuit>The Backside of the castle then exploded, after a second the rear towers one after another...
<gigglesalot>Opal heard the explosion, as did Sol. She groggily turned her head. "Where's Otsdarva?" She asked. "He was still on the roof!" Opal said as she piloted the airship upwards. "We have to look!" Sol went to the airship's door and the moment she was closes enough to the rubble, jumped down. "Otsdarva! OTSDARVA!" She screamed. Panicking, Sol began to pick up the rocks and move them. "Otsdarva where are you?" She cringed and held her wound. It stung like a thousand bees and something else, but she had to find him. Sol wanted to thank him for everything and more. Plus the adventure he had offered couldn't be turned down easily by a girl like herself.
<viaco12>"Not this time,' Toasty thought to himself. 'This time, I'm just gonna stay put and not get involved with these guys' shenanigans.' He crossed his arms and firmed his stance. 'They'll be fine on their own. The explosion probably just missed him somehow. I'm sure he's fine.' Next thing he knew, he was walking around in search, avoiding falling debris as best as he could. 'I have no willpower.'
<SomeGuyInaSuit>Otsdarva leaped from the downed halway as fast as he could ripping off his coat and running like he never ran before. another explosion raised the roof of the corridor behind him with following explosions chasing him. He saw Sol towards the middle, using his right arm, he hoisted her up and carried her on his left shoulder, more explosions were erupting behind him as the rest of the castle began to blow. He signaled Toasty up ahead to get back to the airship as fast as he could.
<gigglesalot>Sol, shocked, cringed as his shoulder pressed against her wound. "Ots- gah- you're okay!" The two made it safety onto the airship and it ascended into the clouds. Opal was thrilled to see him safe. "Thank the gods you're safe!" Sol got down off Otsdarva's shoulder, leaving behind a dark stain on his shirt. "Damn it all to hell." She sneered and leaned against the wall. Her ears pounded. "Sol?" Opal inquired. The girl coughed and finally with her determination and energy spent, collapsed onto the floor of the ship.
<viaco12>"Nice job, me,' Toasty thought. 'Way to not really do anything useful at all.' He sprinted through the rubble. 'Should have just stayed on the ship like you said you would.' A rock fell and hit his shoulder. Toasty stumbled, but kept moving. 'Better get back to the ship. Wouldn't have had this problem if you'd have just stayed out of this one.' He vaulted over a column that was laying across the floor. The edge was fast approaching and the ship wasn't far off. 'You're lucky this jump is do-able, else you'd probably end up dead on the mountain side, like that Pasty guy.' He leaped off the edge and landed on the ship. "Well, that was something," He said.
<SomeGuyInaSuit>Otsdarva caught Toasty's hand and pulled him up securely. "Home Sweet Home!" he shouted, then tuned Toasty towards the exploding castle. "Watch the fireworks partner!" After the tower the party leaped from exploded, the base of the castle erupted in a much bigger explosion than expected. The entire structure was engulfed in flames, causing a landslide upon where Pasty's final battle took place. The shock of explosion cut through the mountain causing it to crumble upon the river where the rest of the Liliana insurgents were, burying them alive. Not one seemed to had made it out.
The Epic Ending to apparently the most Epic RP that has happened in the group, as well as my first one XD. I thank you and love you all who attended. :D
